I started HeyMama because I wanted a space that feels real. Not picture-perfect. Not filtered. Just honest. Motherhood is beautiful, but it’s also humbling and messy in the best ways. We all love our kids endlessly, but that doesn’t mean every moment feels magical. Some days feel like chaos, others feel like pure joy, and most are a little bit of both.

Every Tuesday and Thursday, I’ll send you something worth opening. On Tuesdays, I’ll share real stories from my week… the little moments that make you laugh, cry, or think “Oh my gosh, same.” On Thursdays, I’ll send mom hacks, product finds, and practical things that make life easier or just a bit prettier.

HeyMama is a reminder that you’re not the only one figuring it out. That you can be grateful and tired. Loving and overwhelmed. Joyful and unsure, all at the same time. It’s for the moms who give everything every day, even when no one’s watching.

Last week, I decided I was going to have a calm morning. I woke up early, got ready, even made my coffee while it was still hot. I thought, “Okay, I’m doing it. I’m one of those moms who has it together today.” Five minutes later, Selah spilled yogurt on Jansen. Then Jansen got upset because “the air touched him,” and Kouvr has gained the ability to take off her diaper.

By 8 a.m., I was wiping floors, changing outfits, and laughing at how fast my “calm morning” turned into an ASBOLUTE circus. But it also got me thinking, maybe this is the point… this season of life doesn’t go as planned, and somehow, that’s what makes it beautiful.

I have recently been using this app I found called BABA, it’s basically an app where it recommends you healthy meals for your kid, and even gives you an InstaCart checkout link with all the ingredients needed:

If you’re new here, reply and tell me what kind of mom season you’re in right now. The wild toddler stage? New baby life? Somewhere in between? I’d love to hear from you.

Thanks for being here. I can’t wait to grow this little corner of the internet with you… one story, one moment, one cup of coffee at a time.

Love,
Candace
