This week was hard for me. Not for any big reason, just one of those weeks where everything felt a little heavier. The house was a mess, the twins were arguing over nothing, and I kept feeling like I was behind on EVERYTHING. Laundry, work, life. It’s funny how those weeks sneak up on you.

There were a few nights where I sat on the couch after everyone went to bed and just felt… done. Not in a bad way, just tired in every possible sense. But even in those moments, I’d look over at the monitor and see Kouvr sleeping with her hands tucked under her chin or hear the twins talking in their bed right before falling asleep, and it reminded me why it all matters…

I think sometimes we forget that it’s okay to have off weeks. It doesn’t mean we’re failing or doing anything wrong. It just means we’re human. And honestly, those harder weeks make the sweet ones feel even better. So… Mama, if you’re in one of those weeks too, just know you’re not the only one. You don’t have to have it all together. The dishes can wait, the laundry can pile up, and the to-do list will still be there tomorrow. What matters most is that you’re showing up. Keep loving your babies, doing your best, and giving them a version of you that cares deeply, even when you’re tired. That’s more than enough.

This week I’ve been leaning into little things that make life smoother. Not big routines or complicated systems, just small habits that actually help when everything feels like a lot. Taking five minutes to clean the kitchen before bed so mornings don’t start in chaos. Letting the kids help with dinner, even if it gets messy. Sitting outside for a few minutes during nap time just to breathe.

None of it’s perfect or planned, but it makes a real difference. Sometimes what works isn’t some big reset or new routine, it’s just choosing tiny moments that make the day feel a little lighter. The kind of things that remind you you’re doing okay, even in the middle of the chaos.

Some days just putting on jeans instead of leggings feels like a win. I’ve been all about outfits that are comfy, easy, and still make me feel like myself. The kind of stuff you can throw on for errands or coffee and not even think about it.

Outfit One:

My absolute FAVORITE fall out fit. Cozy sweater, favorite jeans, and that effortless “I tried today” vibe even if I totally didn’t. Perfect for errands, coffee runs or just hanging out at home with the kids.

Outfit Two:

These pajamas are basically my love language. I wear them every chance I get, soft, cozy, and perfect for slow mornings with coffee and cartoons playing in the background.

Outfit Three:

This one’s lightweight, simple, and somehow still feels put together. It’s the outfit I throw on when I’m running late but want to look like I have my life somewhat figured out.

Okay mama, these are the things I’ve been currently obsessed with.

PEPPERMINT MOCHA – starbucks… it’s back… you’re welcome 😍😍

📺 PRESUMED INNOCENT – Wesley and I always end our nights with a show once the kids are finally asleep, and we just finished this one on Amazon Prime. All I can say is WOW 😱😱

📺 GILMORE GIRLS – my parents used to watch this and I never really paid attention… but I am HOOKED right now 😅

👹 Don’t hate me.. KPOP DEMON HUNTERS – I know it’s cliche, but Jansen and Selah literally SCREAM-sing the songs and it’s just the cutest thing ever.

If you’re new here, reply and tell me what kind of mom season you’re in right now. The wild toddler stage? New baby life? Somewhere in between? I’d love to hear from you.

Thanks for being here. I can’t wait to grow this little corner of the internet with you… one story, one moment, one cup of coffee at a time.

Love,
Candace
